More than one lakh students are enrolled as volunteers in junior and youth Red Cross every year and their services are being used  for Disaster Management and other Red Cross service orientated activities.

The youth also extended their service to mobilize disabled and aged people to cast their votes during local body elections in all polling centers of the Nellore District.
